meh, sticky milk!

the consistency is kind of like white glue, and it's also quite sticky. hahaha. it takes a long time to absorb into the skin, you have to keep patting it in. but i think this is true for many japanese skin care products i've tried.

this guy is alright. i had to layer it at least twice to feel moisturized enough though, also i don't think it provides long-term hydration, it just kinda sits on top of your skin and moisturizes the surface. it works better in conjunction with the toning water.

i've used all three moisture levels (light, regular, high moist) and while the consistencies differ and feel more or less sticky/hydrating when applied, i find that the long term effects throughout the day are pretty comparable. so i think it doesn't even really matter which one you choose

it's pretty gentle and didn't break me out. but sometimes (especially in winter) i would apply like 4 layers and get closed comedones. that's entirely on me though, and it's why i eventually stopped using this product in favor of something more intensely hydrating.

Good moisturizer

i have been using this moisturizer almost 2 years after i purchased the trial ones. and it turned out very good and it did not sticky at all. i decided to repurchase it and i realised that it does not give hydration enough for my skin even tho i have applied 2-3 layers on my skin. but overall, it works very well at first and i might repurchase it after this. it doesnt have any scent and i really love it. the texture is light textured creamy but its very good. u all should give a try.

Left skin feeling tacky

This product did not work for me although I really wanted it to. I used it as a moisturizer to seal all my previous products in, The milk sat on top of my skin for quite long and even after I patted it into my skin, my skin was left with a sticky feeling which I really did not like. My face also looks very shiny. It was moisturizing, but I did not like the way my skin looked or felt after application. I live in a humid, hot climate so I am really not a big fan of how this product left my skin feeling,

Furthermore, I realized I have fungal acne in the middle of using this product. I realize that it is not fungal acne safe, and it has exacerbated the bumps on my skin. This is totally my fault, though.

If you have dry skin / live in a dry area, I would totally recommend this.
