With the help of this site, I compiled a basic care for myself and was going to buy this product, but before that, I decided to analyze the ingredients of the CeraVe gel, which is listed in the original CeraVe site and found out that the composition is much worse, contains parabens and promotes fungal acne!!

love it...it's clearer skin without removing skin natural oil . i have allergy prone skin & it's suited me well. i have tried so many product for cleaning skin, but these cleanser have made my skin so irritated after using 6 months. but for the first time after using 1 year this cleanser suited me well. A doctor suggested to any person with acne prone & sensitive skin to use a mild cleanser. So that i have decided to use it & after 1 years by using day & night, i have reviewed it.

While I've used this for a year and a half and haven't seen improvement in my skin, I still think it's a good cleanser. My skin tends to be up and down and is currently not at its best, but I don't think it's because of this cleanser. At worst it has had a neutral impact on my skin and at best I would say it might have helped prevent worse breakouts. It also does not irritate my sensitive skin which is definitely a bonus and does not leave my face feeling incredibly tight post-wash.

This is an amazing one at a totally affordable price. It doesn't foam up like crazy, it's not extremely drying and your face doesn't feel tight after washing. The ceramides are great for protecting the skin barrier and the niacinamide does somewhat help with the sebum production. In order to get the most out of it, you can leave it on your face for 30s or so before washing it off(although if you're looking to treat a specific skin concern, a cleanser won't do that much for you). It works well in winter as well, with a good moisturiser. It never irritated my face and it never broke me out.
I've also noticed that only using it at night might be better for when your skin is drier(winter) or for people who aren't naturally super oily, like me.

I bought the travel size version of this and tried it just once a couple years ago. For context, I've had sebderm for roughly 15 years now, mainly on my scalp and ears. This cleanser made my whole eyebrow area flare up like crazy in the span of 10 minutes, with a gazillion of flakes forming super fast. I was scared shitless and immediately trashed it. Do NOT buy if you're looking for a malassezia-safe product!
