EVERYONE needs this!

Incredible product that can be used for so many things. It's vaseline on steroids. It's an occlusive so you slap it on at the end of your skincare routine. It creates a barrier on your skin, trapping water in and also preventing irritants from entering. This also makes the products that you put on more effective because it's not evaporating into the air. The best part for me personally is that it is fungal acne safe.

If you have scarring or even fresh damage, use this. Not just on your face - I get scratched by my cats pretty often and this stuff aids healing like no other. Moisture is essential for healing, especially PIH and PIE scarring - and occlusives are the best at creating the environment necessary for healing. It's also good for EVERY skin type. Oily skin needs moisture because drying it out leads to having dehydrated skin (different from having dry skin type), which causes more oil production. Dry skin would also benefit from it. It's also good for acne prone skin because the dryness or dehydration it prevents causes irritation leading to acne, as well as the protection from outside irritants as I previously mentioned. Of course, it helps with aging as well, since dryness ages the skin more quickly.

It can feel pretty thick and look shiny depending on your application so I would recommend just using it at night, unless you don't mind looking and feeling like a slug in public. I'm writing this review during the pandemic so daytime use is probably okay now while in quarantine anyway.
