Not exactly for me

Well I had high expectations for this so I think that’s why I got kind of disappointed, so many people recommended me this product... It’s not bad, when I used this at night I would wake up with a soft skin, but my skin would get so greasy even without a moisturizer; I think it’s best suited for combination to drier skin or if you live in a drier environment, me as a oily skin living in a humid environment was not the best match, so all in all I can understand why it’s loved by so many people, but if you have oily skin maybe try other stuff.

Hydrating toner that has make a huge difference in my skincare routine.

It's described as a toner and moisturizer, but I would only use this as a moisturizer if you were doing the seven skin method (seven layers of toner). I'm also prefacing this review with the fact that this is what has worked well with my skin and so if you have a different skin type/more sensitive/different allergies/etc. you mileage may vary.

I originally got this as a gift from a friend that works in skincare and got a second bottle (after I finished the first) from another friend that received it as PR. At first when I tried the toner I thought it was great and my skin felt incredibly soft, but I didn't repurchase it when I ran out because I thought the change was marginal. However, after going six weeks without this toner, I was able to better appreciate and see the dramatic difference of reintroducing it into my skincare routine. Now that I'm half way done with my second bottle, I've purchased (instead of getting another bottle as a gift lol but thank you to my generous friends) one more for my reserve. I've got a couple more toners I was gifted (I promise that I'm not receiving PR, my friends just have a lot of skincare that they pawn off on me lol) that I plan on trying out, but I think that the Cream Skin is really my holy grail.

So what has the cream skin done for my skin?
1. My face is the softest it's ever been. I am currently 25 and my skin is softer than when I was in middle school. Genuinely.
2. My moisture barrier is stronger than ever. I messed up my moisture barrier trying a product that was too strong and over exfoliated my face. After reintroducing the toner, I've noticed a huge difference in the quality of my skin.
3. My PIH is healing faster. This goes hand in hand with repairing my moisture barrier, but I think it's important to note that my face has been healing a lot faster while using this toner (in addition to using other hydrating and moisturizing products).

Other notes:
1. The texture is light and smooth. I hate products that feel heavy or filmy, and this toner feels just right.
2. It also comes in a mist form if that's how you prefer to put on toner.
3. I use this toner twice a day (AM and PM). Sometimes if I'm feeling a little dry I put on two "layers" in the morning.
4. I apply the toner using my hands because I feel like using a cotton pad is wasteful (in terms of both wasting the product and creating more waste with the cotton).
5. This toner is so hydrating that if I forget to put on moisturizer, my skin is still fine, but I wouldn't recommend intentionally replacing your moisturizer with this. At the end of the day you still need a thicker layer of hydration and an occlusive!

If you prefer cleansing toners I would recommend trying this product (or at least a sample) and seeing if the hydrating effects will work well with the rest of your skincare. This product really made me understand and appreciate hydrating products!

If you like hydrating toners, I would also recommend trying this toner and comparing it to your other toners. To be honest I was planning on repurchasing this toner even before I received a second one, but after going through a bottle and a half I can confidently say that I'm going to keep coming back for more. I've never repurchased a toner before so for me to have three bottles of this goes to show how well it works for my skin.

Love this baby

I love the feeling it gives after application. It ABSORBS well into my skin and leave a plum, soft skin that I love. Its hydrated just like Laneige but this leaves healthy, firm plump skin while Laneige leaves Soft plump skin. This one is not as affordable with lots of great ingredients as the Klairs toner. WILL REPURCHASE this baby for sure.
