Gentle Cleanser Not So Great for Acne-Prone Skin

Pros: gentle, non-stripping, not fragrant.
Cons: Clogged my pores noticeably.

I was in the market for a cleanser to alternate with my salicylic acid wash. My face was feeling a bit dry so I turned to this cleanser, as my friend loves it for her dry skin. The first day or so I was impressed and it felt very soothing just to wipe it off with a damp cloth. I began to notice there was an oily residue on my hands after use, however. After a few days I started noticing some prominent sebaceous filaments on my nose, deep pimples forming in various regions, and a blackheads on my cheek. Blackheads on my cheeks are super rare for me so I knew something was wrong in my routine.

With the comedogenic rating on this product's profile, it makes sense to me while it clogged my pores and made me break out. I do not recommend this for oily or acne prone skin.
