I gone through three jars of this, but only one and a half was used directly on my face. It has alcohol, so the gel can dry quickly on your skin after application. It has little to no smell for me. I use this as one of the ingredients for my own DIY serum/essence. I accidentally left one jar on a shelf in my room and didn't use it for months, and it dried up. So the best next thing is to put it in the fridge.
I attempted using this product as a moisturizer for the face and body because that was how this product was advertised to me when I purchased it, however the gel always left an uncomfortable sticky residue that ended up clogging my pores and caused me to break out. I stopped using it, but kept the product for the fear of wasting it.
I had a few mishaps with the kitchen stove, and this gel at least was able to help me in the healing process, as well as a few sunburns I had this summer.
The product works well for burns or itchy feeling on your face. You can also apply it on your whole body. The gel feels even nicer if you apply it on a cold temperature, so I would recommend putting this somewhere cold or on your fridge before applying it. A must-have for the summer, people with any kind of skin and for those who seek to sooth their skin, whatever that part is.
