Before, I climbed my way up from 5% benzoyl peroxide to 10% and it worked, but as soon as I stop using them, it comes back again. So I used this Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Leave-on mask with my sunscreen on top of it for just like 3 days straight, and my fungal acne is fully gone like miracle. I still used benzoyl peroxide 10% at night time, so I guess they were working together.
Nowadays, when I tend to breakout or when my fungal acne gets triggered by other products, I just use this for a spot treatment at night, and voila, acne's gone again. It truly works overnight.
BUT!!! always be careful on not overdoing it. The last time when I used it again after so many months, I thought I could bare applying it twice a day. But then, my face got really red and itchy. So immediately I washed it off and applied some aloe vera gel to soothe my skin.
Bottomline is, be careful and just read the instructions on the back. Even if you've been using it before then stopped, and you're using it again, apply it like how you started. :)
I have bought it to fight with my acne. It has a benzoil peroxide in it, an ingredient with antibacterial effect, which is effective enough, but may irritate and dry out the skin. However, this cleanser is creamy, like a hair conditioner, which makes the product less irritating. I would recommend applying it on dry skin, massaging, adding some water, massaging more and then rinsing. That's the way oily and creamy cleansers work best.
