I love how this stuff brightens under my eyes. It's a nice salmon color so helps with blue veins under the eye. I'm always looking to brighten that area but it has sodium metabisulfite. Apparently this is known to cause eye irritations/damage. It can also be an allergen. Just wish that ingredient wasn't in it.
Before purchasing this cream I had read a lot of raves of the almost immediate effects this eye cream had for people. After having used it once, I could see what people where raving about. Yes, it did provide rapid results. How is that possible? Well, the cream contains some type of pigment/colorant that provides a brightening effect. Think of this effect to that similar of a concealer. However, the cream does have other anti-aging ingredients such as caffeine, green tea extract, ginseng & chestnut. Also, seeing the list of ingredients and taking into account the extraordinary amount of money eye creams usually cost, this is a fair deal. I use this both in my day & night routine under my eyes. I usually have a problem with millia and I have to say i didn't really notice any after using this cream. I will have to say however, that you should try to avoid using too much since it has a kind of glistening effect and will start to create an almost silicone like film. Last but not least, kudos to Origins for the UV protection effects of this cream (titanium oxide in smal amounts). We always neglect sun protection under our eyes!
All in all, this eye cream is pretty good, I will have to remove a star for the almost gimmicky pigment approach.
