Tried and True Moisturizer

I have gotten this on and off since it first came out, and recently have started using it again. Whenever I come back to it I remember why I used to use it ALL THE TIME. Make sure to use this on wet skin or else it's just going to dry you out. I only gave it 4 stars because it isn't revolutionary, it's just a great staple basic gel cream that is reliable!

combination skin*
i initially started out using the water gel cream which was alright but way too light. the gel cream is slightly thicker but not heavy at all for my skin. this moisturiser is perfect if you live in hot climates. the water gel moisturiser contained dyes and fragrance while this is a cleaner option compared to the water gel.

**i used this product before i discovered it was not great for fungal acne prone skin. However i do not think it made it worse.

Breakout

Not sure why but would get a bunch of small zits every time I used this. Took a long while to realize it but now I have more normal acne. it looked fungal but I could pop some too.
It also didn't feel too moisturizing.
i think this would be good if you have normal oily skin. i dont think this is the one for dry skin.

avoid if with acne prone skin

It gives a glassy glow effect that doesn’t necessarily moisturise the skin, most likely because of the silicon in it. This is not ideal for acne prone skin. It felt good at first but in subsequent days I had an intense acne breakout. I won’t be purchasing it again.

Love this product

Light-weight, absorbs so quickly, fragrance free, and makes my skin feel supple! This product has a place in my favorite facial products. I have combination skin and am sensitive to so many things, and have never experienced an issue with this product. Moisturizing but not too much for combination/oily/acne prone skin. I can easily wear this as a moisturizer or underneath another moisturizer.

Excellent!

For my oily skin it's really important not to add anything oily on top of it. That's why I love this gel - it makes skin completely matte upon applying, I'm fascinated. And its perfume is gorgeous! It's really hydrating, even though I used products that do that part better, I'd always choose this because I don't like oily shine throughout the day other products gave me.

kinda HG

I really wish this moisturizer was cheaper and bigger. Neutrogena really bumped up the price of this stuff. C'mon, you're a drugstore brand. My skin seems to love it, but I can't afford to buy it so often when it's so expensive. It is the very right amount of moisturizing and hydrating. Such a shame. Oh well, guess I'll have to look for something else.
