Unsuitable for dryer skin types

I wrote a review on the travel size version of this product but as it is the same product just in a larger size I felt that I could review this too.

Although I have a dry skin, there were a few ingredients in this product that seemed to be good for dry skin and as I was suffering from an oilier skin during summer (as a result of my skin over compensating on oil production to relieve the dryness - which I later found out). The first few washes were great and the greasy feeling on my skin disappeared after each wash, the menthol ingredient also made my skin tingle which was a pleasant and refreshing sensation. However after a few days of use my skin started to dry out terribly, resulting in flaking and eczema-like patches on my cheeks. I do confess that this was not the right product for my skin and that the product was doing what it was meant to do - for oilier skin. This is not a product I recommend for dry skin types but on the plus side it did not cause breakouts or further sensitize my skin.

I rated this product as 3 stars because it is not an overall bad product, it just does not suit dry skin.
