Moisturizing, but SO THICK

I got this product to try and help with redness in my cheeks. It is VERY thick- think like spreading toothpaste on your face. It does spread evenly and smoothly and has a nice, mild herbal scent. I wanted to used this as an everyday moisturizer, but it's too thick for morning use for me so I use it as a night cream when I'm feeling particularly dry. It has a tendency to feel sticky and sit on top of my skin unless I apply it immediately after showering. If I wear it in the morning, I get oily within a few hours but it has not caused me any break outs.

For those looking for a redness cure, I'm not sure if I've seen much improvement in my cheek redness or overall skin tone, and if I apply it during a flare up it has no immediate effect. I do feel like my mild flare ups are less frequent, but this could be equally due to avoiding triggers. Not a miracle cure, but fine as a well formulated night cream.
