Unsure

I have been using this as a moisturizer for about a month now. I have seen significant improvement in the oil production of my skin but i have noticed lots of tiny whiteheads on my face which is not normal for me. I live in an extremely dry climate and because of this, my skin over produces oil. I feel like the product does do what it claims to do but it does other weird things to my skin.
