... But as I understand there is scarcely any difference between that one and this one. I believe the 45+ one is being discontinued/re-branded. Generally a lovely product. My skin will break out from any sunscreen at all. Any. I've tried all the sensitive ones. And finally, at the ripe age of 28, my skin has accepted Missha's sunscreens into its life as its lord and savior.
My favorite aspect of this is that it doesn't interfere with the rest of my routine, there's no pilling whatsoever. No white cast (but I'm also a white woman, so keep that in mind) and the fragrance is very soft. I'll keep using their sunscreens for a long time.
So recently I found out that my sensitive skin isn't allergic to everything, rather, I have fungal acne instead. Do note that I am allergic to a lot of ingredients still (niacinamide included) so there isn't a lot of options for me out there. Anyway, after discovering my fungal acne situation, I stopped using my previous sunscreen (3w clinic intensive uv sunblock cream) and bought this one instead. I've been using it for nearly two weeks and I'm loving it so far. I love love the texture. I would describe it as an airy gel, where it evaporates and dries down very quickly depending on how much you apply. As such, it won't leave you looking like a grease factory like Biore uv watery essence. Instead, I find it controlling my oil production pretty well without making my dry areas feeling tight (combo skin). It also gives you a nice subtle shine and that smooth feeling on your skin. The "for now" in the title indicates my willingness to change to a different sunscreen if I find an alcohol-free substitute that is still fungal acne safe. Nevertheless, I highly recommend!
This caused an Allergy in the form of itching during the first use. My face tingled uncomfortably, and I had to wash off all the layers. I gave this product a second chance and it seems my skin is used to it. Now there are no allergies. However, by the end of the day, my skin is oily in the T zone. This is unpleasant, since the texture of the gel is excellent and we wanted the same ideal action from it.
