I won't lie: I bought this stick because the packaging was cute and because it was so little it could fit in my pouch.
I didn't have great expectations from this, since it was mostly advertised just as a cooling stick. It does the job, especially during hot summers (I live in Italy) or while you are using your laptop and feel you eyes popping off your face.
On the retailer's website it was also added that I should have put it into the fridge but I honestly forgot.
The texture it's nice, freshing and the best thing is it's made with extract of bamboo. The product reduce the
I read on Sephora website to try put on the fridge because has a better fresh effect, but I don't know if it's true because I forgot to try.
I bought because of the package, I'm a panda lover, but that's a nice product to use at nigh before got to sleep, specially when you know you must wake up with dark circles in the next morning. The package is small so it's easy to take with us for a travel, or wherever you go. I recommend the product, not just for the cuteness pack, but for the effect that it has.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-7 and Palmitoyl Oligopeptide form together what's often marketed as Matrixyl 3000, and I was itching to try it out around my eyes to see if it makes a difference on my wrinkles. While this ingredient is not particularly hard to get hold of, it's hard to find it in a fungal acne safe form, so this stick it was.
I like the texture and application, but I'm no great fan of the fragrance and coloring. Not that it smells bad, no, I think the smell is pleasant, but I think ingredients that are potentially irritating shouldn't be used in face care products, especially not in those for use around the eyes!
While I didn't notice any effect on my dark circles (didn't expect that: my skin is very thin there, so the blood always shines through, no cosmetics can change that), the skin around my eyes is better moisturized and used in my general routine with regular dermarolling, AHA, Differin, moisturizers and sunscreens, I think I've seen a slight improvement in my wrinkles withhin two weeks.
