Also I would switch out the Caprylic Triglyceride and the alcohol and add something like sodium pca. Maybe then it would be a more realistic price point. The cost is not warranted for how basic this moisturizer is.
the best moisturiser and it's not even close, fungal safe looks matte calms the skin literally perfect except it's kinda awkwasrd to apply and the actual way you squirt it out is annoying, this is 10000000 miles better than cerave (trash)
It actually improves my skin!!!!! which is a first and is cool and calm like bro cmon
A month ago my sensitive face was at its worst condition - inflamed, dry, and scaly. I started using Avene Tolerance because it has minimal ingredients. Now that I'm almost finished with my first tube, I can say that it's a good moisturizer. It eased my inflammation, restored moisture on my face without causing any break outs. Now that the main problem was handled, I was hoping this moisturizer would...moisturize. My cheeks and chin are really dry, but oily on my nose and forehead area. The texture of this moisturizer is quite light, I love how it feels on my T-zone. The lotion texture doesn't stop it from seeping to my skin quickly, and it doesn't feel or look greasy at all.
However, it doesn't moisturize my** dry area as much as I hoped a **pricey moisturizer would. After it seeps in, my cheeks and chin still feel a little dry. This is why I had to give it 4 stars.
Nevertheless, it's a great moisturizer that shouldn't cause any trouble on your skin at all. I'll repurchase this only if my skin doesn't react well to the next moisturizer I'm getting. The price of this moisturizer is something I have to consider, though.
I just started using this, and so far I'm really liking it. My skin drinks it up. I love how it doesn't feel greasy or tacky at all - it leaves my skin feeling "nourished" instead of slick or shiny. I'm working on cleaning out my closed comedones, so I wanted to keep my products to minimal ingredients. This only has 6! And none of them are pore-blockers unless you react to squalane, which is the least pore-blocking oil from what I understand. I've been pairing this with the Vichy Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Face Moisturizer for hydration. (It only has 10 ingredients). Both products are fungal acne safe as well. So far, so good! I'd definitely recommend this one if you're looking for something pore safe and nourishing.
When I first started using this product I found it to be promising. In just two days using it in the mornings and nights I could see a great difference in my skin texture: it felt a lot smoother and even, and part of my acne had gone. However, after two weeks I had a really bad breakout, I had clogged pores with really greasy skin on my T zone and I could feel new closed comedones. I kept using it, thinking it was just my skin reacting to this new product and that it would get used to it soon and go back to normal. I started applying it only every other night (using nothing in the mornings) hoping this would help my skin situation. Despite this helping a bit, I found that it was no solution, since I need an everyday-use moisturizer to hydrate my face. In conclusion: it triggered frugal acne and clogged pores for me and didn't really help too much with my dehydrated skin.
This cream is incredible for sensitive skin, for skin dried out by acne treatments, and just as a super high tolerance cream. It is a bit too greasy for my oily / acne-prone skin, did not absorb too well. But really saved my irritated skin when nothing else did.
