Been using this product for a few weeks already and have seen my skin become more radiant and less dull. There is a brightening effect as well which promotes skin luminosity. It has cleared up some of my PIH as well. There are no irritating or sensitizing ingredients, and no artificial fragrances (although there is a natural scent of citrus which is pleasant but not overbearing). The texture is somewhat tacky, but once applied to the skin it gets readily and easily absorbed into the skin.** HG Vitamin C and will not hesitate to repurchase it again!**
This is a great serum! It goes on silky smooth, and dries down pretty fast. It doesn't pill under my moisturizer or makeup. It has a very light nice scent to it as well.
I have noticed that my sun spots are lightening. I also use differin, so that is possibly helping as well.
I use about 4-5 drops on my face and neck, morning and evening. My skin is prone to irritation, and this does not aggravate that.
This is a great Vitamin C Serum with a very watery texture that sinks into skin quickly, does not leave a sticky residue, and is certified cruelty-free and vegan. There are no parabens, synthetic fragrance, or dyes in Mad Hippie products. I’ve tried a few other Vitamin C products that left a gritty or sticky residue behind or did not appear to do much to lighten dark spots or brighten the skin. Mad Hippie is by and far my favorite Vitamin C serum. I use a tiny drop on each fingertip and spread on my skin then use a light tapping motion to apply it. It absorbs very quickly and helps protect skin from free radicals, provide antioxidants, etc. I know this makes a difference in my skin because it makes my skin look brighter than when I don't use it.
