My Holy Grail

I have been using this product for about 4 years and i absolutely loved it. I never looking for another product to replace this one because this cleansing oil has everything i need. This one can remove make up completely even a very waterproof mascara. The price is very affordable too, so yeah i love it.

Removes it all, but can clog pores

I fell so in love w this after only one use that i bought 2 more bottles rt away, & recommended it to all my family & friends! It tskes all my mascara off so easily, turns white when u add water & rinses so clean, I had been using plain hemp seed oil for years & i had to rub w a soft cloth to remove oil residue & makeup remnants. My skin improved so much tbe first month i used this I assume bc i no longer rubbed it so much & i had been causing irritation not knowing it.
However. I soon started getting closed comedones on my chin & jawline. When i stopped using this they went away.
Now i use an PHA milky cleanser as my first step & use this on my eyes. It never did clog pores on my cheeks or forehead weirdly enough. I think most ppl will love this. Almost every cleansing oil & balm i have seen has the ethyhexyl palmitate or however its spelled & it is very comedogenic.

Worst product on me, but not you ;)

I've been using this cleansing oil for a month. Sadly, this product make my face totally breakout. I've got acne and pimples and make my face full of scars that I've never have on my face. New pimples still popped up when I used this. I decided to stop because my skin is getting worse. I guess it's due to the fact there's an ingredient which is rated 4 for comedogenic. Definitely not going to repurchase this.

A must try! I'm on my 3rd bottle!

My review will be in 6 parts:-

1. Where to buy & price
I bought this at the drugstore (Guardian and Watsons) or through their website / official Shopee mall (MY Mentholatum.OS). The normal price is around RM58+ but I always tried to buy it during the sale for RM35+.

2. Packaging
* 200ml content - last for few months although I use it every night
* Transparent bottle - easy to view the content
* Pump bottle with detachable lock - hygienic, easier to dispense, detachable lock secures the bottle and can avoid the product from spilling

3. Star ingredients
* 4 beauty oils (olive oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil & rosehip oil): non-comedogenic (rating 1-2) so less chance to clog pores, rosehip oil contain natural retinoic acid (vitamin A)
* Super hyaluronic acid (HA): can retain twice more moisture than normal HA hence more hydrating
* Absorbent HA: moisture can remain in the skin even after cleansing
* Moringa oleifera seed oil: anti-pollutant formula that protects the skin from environmental pollution and prevents pollution particles from adhering to the skin

4. Who should avoid this product?
* Have fungal acne / Malassezia -

5. Matter
* Colour - colourless liquid
* Scent - no scent
* Viscocity/Consistency - oil consistency

6. My experience
This product lives up to all their claims (from the bottle and Hada Labo official website). I use it as my first cleanser every night and it can remove my sunscreen and lip product well. When I massage it to my face for 15 minutes, I can see oil plugs coming out of my skin. Right after using it, my skin feels softer, smoother and more hydrated. It did not leave any greasy feeling behind. It also did not irritate my skin because of its low pH and gentle formula.

Would I repurchase? DEFINITELY YES!

Best cleansing oil for sensitive skin

There are so many cleansing oils and balms that contain off-putting ingredients such as fragrance, essential oils and sensitising substances. With my sensitive skin, they always irritate my skin and leave a burning sensation. So my skin barrier is damaged and then it's time to find something else to try in order to clean my skin. I CANNOT believe I was late to the party without knowing that Hada Labo is literally sitting in the corner of the shop. I heard it was amazing for all skin types but not THIS good.
Honestly, the BEST cleansing oil HANDS DOWN. But always clean with another water-based cleanser to prevent acne if you are acne-prone. Makeup wipes & micellar water WHO? This thing can be used more than once and STILL not leaving skin stripped. Best for removing makeup, sunscreen, BLACKHEADS (YUP!), and other grit.

It really suits on my skin very well! I really like the texture of oil which make my skin soft and not irritate. I am always use this cleansing oil everyday in my night routine. It really suits on my oily skin and make my skin less oily. I really love it!
