Community: 6 Ratings • 4 ReviewsFor anyone unaware Purito SPF has faced criticism for it being only SPF 19, external tests were run because there was skepticism over it only having two UV protecting ingredients and it came out with a SPF value of only 19, as opposed to the stated SPF 50+. I think this is the case for both purito sun blocks.
Sunscreen had been a nightmare for me. I've tried high end, drugstore, beauty clinic ones, even prescription sunscreen. Everything messed up my skin, so I gave up sunscreen for sometime. Only start to try again when sunspots start appearing. This Purito is the answer to my prayer. It doesn't break me out. It doesn't irritate my skin. It doesn't make me oily. It feels so light on the skin. And it doesn't make me look like i'm wearing a mask. Perfect.
I have recently purchased this sunscreen and I don't think I would switch to any other physical sunscreen ever again! This absorbs into my skin perfectly and does not leave it oily. And the best part is,**** it does not leave a white cast!
It is extremely hot and humid where I live and most sunscreens tend to separate from my skin as I sweat. This sunscreen sinks into my skin perfectly and does not feel heavy or uncomfortable in any way like most sunscreens do.
I've been using chemical sunscreens because I haven't been able to find a physical one that didn't make me an oily mess. I tried this, and I really like the way it spreads on my skin. It's only my second day using it, but I don't feel like it has created more oiliness to my skin. I love that it's a physical sunscreen because I feel it's more environmentally friendly that way. It doesn't leave much of a white cast; it still does a little bit, but it's really pretty good.
