A good organic brightening serum

Bought this product at shopee for P199. It has a very citrus-y scent & has a slight tingling sensation when applied to skin. This product brighten my skin after 2-3 weeks of use. This product lighten my dark spot slightly. Overall a good alternative to expensive brightening serums in the market. ****

This product may be an organic alternative for a brightening serum.

The serum is oil-based. It has a strong scent of citrus, which users who are sensitive to smell may find intolerable. The serum stings for a minute upon application, and you may notice a short-term reddening on areas where it is applied. But don't worry, the reddening subsides in 5 minutes. The best aspects of this product is it's sleek and sturdy packaging. I bought it for PHP199 at SHOPEE. I've only used it for a week, so I haven't seen results. In fact, I believe using the product irritated my skin because I started having pimples in areas where I usually don't. Still, it's within expectations for skin to react this way to new products. You simply have to let it acclimate to serum and eventually, the breakout will subside. The effects are coming in slow, though. I don't notice my scars lightening up, let alone my complexion. But this is usually the case for organic products, they take more time than their synthetic counterparts to work. So I may have to wait for at least another week to notice improvements. That is why I can only recommend this as an alternative if you want a more affordable whitening serum, or you're interested to go the organic route. Otherwise, there are other products available in the market.
