Interesting used as armpit detox

Mixed with apple cider vinegar as per instructions. This stuff bubbles up so you hardly need to use any, so good amount for the money. I used it first as an armpit detox and wow it worked. Bumps were a lot less and smelled fresh. Then i used it in my face. It didn't seem to do much. I didnt really notice much burning or tingling, just a normal mask. But getting it off was a pain because i didnt want all that mud going in the septic tank.

Unpleasantly surprised

ok so I bought this after seeing all the hyped reviews , everytime I use it my skin breaks out more and more acne appears . I used it regularly thinking that it was detoxifying my skin but it got worse , i tried using it with water instead of apple cider , still nothing good , my skin started clearing up only after I stopped using it and i don't know why until now

Feels awful, but it works

I used this product in the past with friends, just because we were intrigued by the packaging.

More recently, since I have been having so many issues with my skin I thought I would give it a real shot and see what all the hype was about.

I've been using it for close to a month now, weekly, and have noticed a significant change.
I personally mix with apple cider vinegar and it BURNS. Especially if you're fair skin, your skin will be red for upwards to an hour after using. The first time using it I noticed my skin purging and breaking out after a few days. Now, I use it and my skin always feels silky smooth afterwards. Make sure to use a good moisturizer afterwards, it will help soothe the skin.

Unpleasantly surpried

It burns. This stuff burns. It makes my skin dry and red so I had to hydrate like crazy right after.
but. BUT. after the redness settles, it leaves my skin smoother and helps with fungal acne.
mixing it with water is the way to go if you have sensitive or dry skin.
If you have oily or normal skin, you can mix it with apple cider vinegar (unless if you have allergic reaction to it, then don't)
Apple cider vinegar pretty much double the strength of this mask.
Doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing, but doesn't necessarily mean a good thing either, it just depends on your skin type and skin condition at the moment.
I would usually apply the mask about once a week (because it dehydrates my skin so much that it kind of hurts, so I don't want to over do it), mix it with water until it's a nice creamy gooey consistency, apply it, then leave it on for ten to fifteen minutes, then rinse it off completely with warm water. After all that, my skin would be hot and red so I would moisturize and put on an overnight face mask.
This is also not bad for fungal acne, for some people it might improve the condition and for some it doesn't really do anything. One thing that's for sure, this product does not trigger fungal acne. So it's either good improvement or just nothing. can't really go wrong with that,

Blackhead Blaster!

I absolutely LOVE this clay. It always leaves my skin soft and fresh.

4 stars because it can be a bit drying. I've combated that by doing a few things
-apply less product
-leave on for less time
- add nutrient rich oils to the clay
-always avoid dry patches, active acne and thin skin!

Smaller pores and clearer skin!

I really like this mask. Even after one use, my pores are noticeably smaller and my skin is brighter, smoother, and softer. Recently it's helped clear my skin up, and years ago I would use it as a treatment for when I would get really bad flare ups. Only minor downside that I experience is that it's drying, but it's nothing a serum and some moisturizer won't fix. I pretty much follow the same procedure that previous reviewers stated, which is:

  1. Scoop equal teaspoon amounts of clay and apple cider vinegar (mine is raw and unfiltered) with a little plastic scoop.
  2. Mix them together in a wooden or plastic bowl with a wooden or plastic utensil.
  3. Slather a thin layer of the mask on my face,** thin enough that my skin is still visible through the mask**, and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Clean off with a damp washcloth, apply a gentle hydrating serum, and moisturize.

You really want the layer to be thin because if the layer of mask is too thick, it will burn your skin. Plus this stuff will really suck all the gunk out of your pores so you don't need a lot of it, or to use it very often. Even with my oily skin I only use it once a week and I personally still notice great results, however I could see people using this twice a week maximum if truly needed. I don't experience the pulsating anymore but I do definitely notice tingling. Overall, a great, safe, natural, and affordable alternative to many masks.
