The applicator is similar used in liquid lipsticks. I usually just take two dots for each cheekbones and blend them using my finger by tapping away. It's so easy to apply, doesn't make a mess, and doesn't emphasize my large pores! Perhaps because it's in liquid formula, so I'm not really sure with the pressed powder one. This one 10/10 will repurchase!
