My dermatologist prescribed me this cream after having acne on my cheek, chin and forehead area for about a year. The first few months I had breakouts of acne - which she told me would happen because the acne needs to get out. And now, for a few months my skin has been clear. I've used this product from august so about 8 months in total. Unlike the gel version, which I've tried before, the cream was a more gentle and I didn't wake up nearly as read and itchy as before. However, this product probably did make my skin a bit sensitive. I would recommend using the Avene Cleanance Hydra cream with this product, in the morning or on the night you don't use Sona. It helped a lot with the healing of acne. And of course use SPF with Sona.
