Total guilty pleasure

Let me be very clear: I KNOW these things aren't good for your skin/pores/chakras/overall well-being. But MAN, are they ever satisfying to use! I use these probably once every other month, and I never have any undesirable side effects, so... sorry, Hyram, but I will continue to rip apart my nose pores bimonthly because of the pure satisfaction they bring.

They get quite stiff quite quickly, and it can sometimes be difficult to find a corner loose enough to lift and begin peeling. They also tend to leave a little black residue behind, but I feel like I should be washing my face after using them anyway, so it's fine. The worst part is that you have to peel upwards, which is a little painful (lost a star there). The best part is inspecting the strip afterwards, and just being enthralled in the nastiness of it all. The Internet warns against these, but I think there are so many more worse things to spend time and money on.
