Favorite moisturizer

This is my favorite moisturizer and it never disappoints me. I have oily skin, and while some people may find this too heavy my skin loves this moisturizer. I only use it at night to help restore some moisture and balance to my skin. By morning my skin doesn't feel greasy but hydrated and plump. I'm a fan of cerave but also their ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, and Ceramides. I use it mostly during the colder seasons, and anytime my skin really needs some extra hydration.

One of the best moisturizers out there

CeraVe PM has 4% niacinamide (an effective percentage) and ceramides in the right, effective proportions for your skin. This alone is remarkable, since many products that claim niacinamide and ceramide benefits either don't have stated percentages or don't have the right ceramide proportions. Plus, at ~$15 for a whopping 4 oz, this is one of the most affordable products on the market.

The single issue is that some people find it breaks them out, since the product is formulated with fatty alcohols. If you have this problem, I would go for the more expensive alternatives, Stratia Liquid Gold and Elta MD PM (they also have some other great features and are more moisturizing, but are substantially more expensive). Otherwise, this is one of the best skincare products you can get for the price, and it's widely available. For those reasons I often recommend it to skincare newbs.
