I really wanted it to work for me
Skin Type: combination Skin
Skin Concerns: Acne, Blackheads, Fungal Acne (Malassezia), Dehydrated Skin, Whiteheads/Closed Comedones

Unfortunately, this product does not work for my skin. I have tried numerous times but every time I use it I breakout after a couple of days... it moisturized my skin very well, so if you don't have acne-prone skin on the drier side, I believe it will work for you...

Holy Grail for Dry Skin and Fungal Acne Sensitivity
Skin Type: combination Skin
Skin Concerns: Post Inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), Acne, Blackheads, Fungal Acne (Malassezia), Large Pores, Sensitive Skin, Dehydrated Skin, Uneven Skin Tone, Whiteheads/Closed Comedones

When I realized my skin was sensitive to fungal acne triggers I found the majority of my favorite rich moisturizers were breaking me out. Having extremely dry skin and being prone to fungal acne is so unfortunate because the ingredients used in the best moisturizers on the market are usually fungal acne triggers. Aka I needed an oil free, extra sensitive, super hydrating moisturizer formula. In came the Moisture Surge 72hr, and it saved my skin! This fixed my damaged moisture barrier and still feels like a splash of water on my face with every use. In the winter I used this day and night to hydrate my skin but I find it is the perfect moisturizer at night once my skin has balanced out. Def recommend! I find this is also great as a night cream/lip plumper before makeup.

There must be something wrong with me.
Skin Type: dry Skin
Skin Concerns: Eczema, Rosacea, Blackheads, Large Pores, Sensitive Skin, Dehydrated Skin

I bought this, watching all the reviews and the high praise it got. And it started out quite good. It's excellent for dry skin and under primers. It's light and easy to distribute. But around two weeks time, I started getting bumps all over my face, Especially on my forehead and temples. They disappeared just a few days after discontinued use. I might have triggered my Rosacea or my eczema, I have no idea. I use it on my neck and decolletage, which works just fine. I have many other Clinique products, so this was a huge let down, also because it's not a cheap product.
