If you have oily skin, I wouldn't use a moisturizer before this as it is plenty moisturizing on it's own. The scent is light and pleasant and the product did not irritate my sensitive skin. For the warmer months I would opt this with a lighter consistency SPF as it felt a bit heavy on my face.
A little background, I have been using this product for more than a month. I haven't finished the first bottle and I have already bought a second one. That should say how much I like this product. There's no whitecast (I have an asian brown skin), it makes my face look glowing and my face feels plumped after using it. I have not experience breakout that's solely bcs of this product (I have experienced breakouts from suncreen and it wasn't a very pleasant experience). This is my opinion about this product based on MY EXPERIENCE.
This is probably a very good spf for someone whos skin can tolerate citrus. I get itchy from this unfortunately. I have atopic skin. Also makes me very greasy and gives me breakouts all over the face. Not good at all for me. I am now trying the Purito Green Unscented and it is much better.
Despite my sensitive skin it works well. It can be like a day cream for you. Good for winter, moisturizing well, not oily blemish. For me it gives light matifying effect. It is quickly absorbed, there is no stickiness, but it is no longer desirable to apply the cream before it.
I do not know what to right more because seems that it is enought.
No white cast, makes my skin glow and reduces redness A LOT! I really like it. Minus one star because it contains alcohol and smells pretty strong. Also, it is kinda oily, so if you have oily skin i would avoid. It works great for my acne prone combination skin though, and i can see it working well for dry skin too.
COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50 is a very nice SPF. It applies very easily, it doesn't leave white marks and I have not experienced any sun damage or redness during the summer (and it gets pretty hot here in Southeast Europe). It does have scent but I find it very refreshing. However, I've noticed that it doesn't work great with a moisturizer I used to use that worked wonders for me (La Roche Posay TOLERIANE ULTRA MOISTURIZING CREAM so now I use this SPF as a moisturizer, too. Because of aloe vera in the formula, it is moisturizing enough for my skin.
All in all, it is a very nice SPF but you might rethink purchasing it if you have very oily skin.
My first CosRX product disappointed me. Bought it because it was on sale. I have oily skin and I amaware that this sun cream has alcohol in it but i didn't mind because I thought it is going to matify my oily skin throughout the day. But honestly, I don't like how sticky it is on my face and the fragrance is kinda over-whelming for me. I noticed redness after I applied it. Definitely not going to continue to use on my face and not going to repurchase this. Will finish this up on my body.
