I'm disappointed this is a CosRX product.

It doesn't absorb/dry properly and pills like crazy on my face. Even if it's the only thing I apply, it pills. It can't be used under makeup.

The scent is pretty strong even after application.

I wish I could've liked this sunscreen!

I bought this because of a youtuber and not researching the ingredients beforehand is my mistake. I have combination dry sensitive skin and this feels kind of heavy. My face feels like sweating after applying it. Every time I use it I get breakouts even tho I double cleanse (oil cleanser + foam cleanser). Switched to Klairs UV Essence and never looked back. Now, I'm just using the cosrx one for my neck and hands.

I was very surprised that this became very sticky on my face because I read so many reviews saying this dries down matte. But the whole day, my face felt like it was slapped with some type of glue. I kept trying to make it work by not applying any moisturizer or anything else that might make it more wet on the face, but it really just never dried down on my face. After about two weeks I had all this tiny bumps all over my cheeks and forehead and up to now I am still dealing with them. I hopefully can find a sunscreen soon.

First bottle

When I needed sunscreen I thought this one might suit my skin, but my lord.... it was hell....

It was summer back in 2017, I had my final internship and it was a sunny day. I got my hands on this sunscreen and thought why not try it out. So when I applied it for the first time I noticed immediately that the consistency was thick. Anyway, doesn't matter... I thought my skin would be able to absorb it...

I WAS WRONG

My skin wasn't absorbing it at all, it also created a shiny layer. It looked like I dipped my head into a bucket full with oil 😭 The thing was that you have to re-apply sunscreen during out the day. So I tried to re-apply it and it was a disaster. It ended looking cakey, more oily and it became very heavy...

It was impossible to re-apply this sunscreen, it was also impossible to use this sunscreen during spring/summer season. I only liked the sunscreen during the colder fall/winter season, only because it was like an extra moisturizer for me. I emptied this sunscreen as soon as possible so I could buy another one.

Second bottle

Yes... I bought it again... I had to, the one that was recommend to my was sold out and my first bottle was running out. The store didn't know when they would recieve their order, so I bought it again. But this time it felt different, I don't know if COSRX changed something but it was definitely different from the first bottle I had.

So I applied it on a normal day, it was a clear day not too hot or too cold. When I applied it the consistency felt a lot thinner. I actually liked it, it was a lot more easier to apply it. It felt lightweight and I could definitely layer this sunscreen. My skin was able to absorb it well and it leaves my skin a bit shiny on my T-zone. Luckily even when my oil comes through after a while it still wouldn't look that oily.

Edit (01-02-2019): The sunscreen makes my face shiny, not the good glowy one, but the it looks way too oily one. Don't know what happened these days, oh well it's almost empty. Can't wait for my new sunscreen to arrive 🤗

Recommend?: I don't know if it was just luck or not, but if you want to try it, then why not.

Repurchase?: Hmm, maybe only if it's my last option
