Dead skin cells be gone
Reviewed
Skin Type: dry Skin
Skin Concerns: Blackheads, Sensitive Skin, Dehydrated Skin, Uneven Skin Tone, Whiteheads/Closed Comedones

Individually wrapped rough textured pads soaked in a formula containing salicylic acid. I received this as a gift when I was battling to clear breakouts and my skin was rough and ashy from all the strong topical acne treatments.

I used this product every few days and it was easy to maneuver around open wounds on my face. The product exfoliates well as the pad is slightly rough to physically exfoliate while the salicylic acid chemically exfoliated. I would brush the pad lightly over breakouts and the salicylic acid would dry out the pustules within a day. The formula did burn if it reached an open wound but the pad is small enough to work around those. My skin always felt softer after using these and I could see the dead skin cells on the pad after use. This product was drying which can be expected from salicylic acid but nothing that some moisturizer couldn't soothe.

When my skin was slightly clearer this did a fantastic job of clearing out the blackheads on my nose. I rated this product 4 stars because if used too often it can irritate sensitized skin and is mildly drying which I tend to dislike because I already have dry skin. However when used correctly it does a great job of really getting through all the gunk on your face for an immediately softer renewed face.
