Expensive but good

I have been using this for about 8 months. I bought it after I had a chemical peel done. It helped my skin feel better when it started peeling and flaking.
I also used it when I went on a ski trip to prevent my face from getting a windburn.
It smells really nice and I never have a problem with it not absorbing into my skin. No problems with it transferring onto my clothes or sheets.

Completely ineffective

My dry skin loves oil, I use a face oil in the morning and at night. I have used the same face oils (Kiehl's midnight recovery concentrate as well as daily reviving concentrate) for a few years and I felt I needed a change in my skincare routine. I impulsively purchased this oil as I am a Dermalogica fan and a brand loyalist. I was heartbroken when I woke up the morning after using the oil only to find big oil blotches on my pillow and a face that did not feel any different to the night before. I resulted to using less and gently patting and massaging the product into my skin, but to no avail. This product smells lovely but simply sits on your skin all night and doesn't fare any better during the day.

After using this oil for a few weeks I saw zero improvement in any of my skin concerns and I might as well have put cooking oil on my face, it would have been cheaper and probably more effective.
