Refreshing but not for dry skin.

As a loyal Dermalogica fan I wanted to try this clay cleanser during the summer as my skin was horribly hot and greasy, even though I have dry skin. The cleanser has a few ingredients that seemed okay for dry skin so I went ahead and bought the travel size so that I could try the product before buying the larger bottle.

At first this cleanser was wonderful, it took away the grease and had a slight menthol element which made my face tingle and feel refreshed. After a few days of using this cleanser my face started to feel extremely dry to the point of flaking and forming dry patches that resembled eczema along my cheeks. I do not think that this is a bad product, only that is doesn't suit dry skin it also does not remove makeup well and I don't recommend that anyone use this around their eye area. On a positive note it did not cause any breakouts or further sensitize my skin.

I give this product 3 stars because even though I had a bad experience I think that it would be lovely for people with an oilier skin type.
