Highly recommended by other, did not disappoint

This was highly recommended as a holy grail for many, so after scouring, I decided to try this as my first cleansing oil. It has a nice, not too thick, but not too thin texture. Upon application, it felt so satisfying to use this because I could feel the years of uncleansed dirt on my skin coming off. It actually emulsified easily when I washed it off too. I've never seen my skin so clear and soft in years. There is a smell, but it doesn't smell artificial, more like olive oil than anything. It feels fun to cleanse with this oil, so I'm more motivated to go through my entire routine.

I did get one pimple though... I hope that's from diet and not this cleanser, so I'm going to continue trying it out.

Simple Oil Cleanser that actually emulsifies

I love this cleanser! It feels really soothing and doesn't leave my skin too stripped. It emulsifies completely which is really nice, and also takes off makeup, even mascara easily! It is simple though so besides being a nice cleanser, I don't think it will do much for any skin conditions, except smoothing the skin.

Love this stuff!

I've been using this for 20 years and it's never done me wrong. Removes all my makeup and rinses clean. I'm just healing up after my very first experience with fungal acne at age 64. Imagine my surprise to see that olive oil is a trigger. Obviously everybody's skin reacts differently to different things. My skin hated Korres Wild Rose facial oil and Herbivore Emerald oil with CBD and Adaptogens, but its perfectly fine with the olive oil.

Holy Grail... but with moderation

Despite how much I love this cleansing oil, I have to say that you have to be cautious with it. I mean: this oil is *fantastic dissolving your sunscreen and make up, but also cleansing deeply your pores. *

I know it sound gross, but you can see your blackheads been removed just by massaging this oil for a minute in your face. And that is the problem: is so addictive that you end putting too much oil in your face and massaging it for too long... which can cause breakouts or, in my case, fungal acne

But once I learned my lesson, (and recovered from my fungal acne break out), this is still my favorite cleansing oil: I use just one pump and massage it for just one minute.

It cleans the most stubborn, water and sweat resistant sunscreens and make up (even mascara). It rinses cleanly without leaving residue, just with lukewarm water (no towels needed to sweep it from your face) and it leaves your skin plump and hydrated.

The formula is very simple and gentle, with no colorants or fragrances. But like I said, this is a very rich oil: a product that people with dry, dehydrated or mature skin could really enjoy, but I suggest that people with oily or combo skin to look for lighter products.
