I wore this on holiday in the med under makeup and at the beach and didn't burn a smidge. I didn't notice any white cast and it has great oil control without feeling sticky or siliconey. Worked fine under my makeup in lieu of primer. Very happy with this one and may finally start wearing SPF routinely in the UK for having found it.
ive been using this sunblock for my oily skin type about 2 months now .
Good dry look . Matte finished .
But sometime under sun exposure , your skin look a bit glossy though.
but overall experience , i would like to recommend this product to those have a oily skin type
I've been using this sunscreen for five years and it has been the best one so far (sunscreens I previously used or am using: Bioré UV Perfect Milk SPF 50+, ROC Minesol Oil Control SPF 70, Actine Antioleosidade SPF 60, Filtrum Ultra Seco SPF 30; all of them are targeted to oily skin).
Pros:
- Despite being dry-touch, I find it to be fairly moisturizing: when my skin is irritated due to using topical acne creams, I feel it helps a little.
- Almost immediate absorption: after about 1 minute of applying it, it feels as you haven't applied anything on your face.
- I feel that throughout the day my face gets much less oily when I use it.
- It doesn't break me out and the texture is as Eucerin claims: light texture, non greasy, non sticky.
- Fragrance-free.
Neutral:
- Besides being anti-shine, it also claims to have a long-lasting dry matt finish: I don't think it matifyes the skin (for comparison, Bioré UV Perfect Milk is much more matifying than Eucerin).
Cons:
- I live in a very hot, sunny and humid city and sometimes I feel it makes my forehead more sweaty than normal.
This is one of the worst sunscreen I've ever used. It's a gel vehicle and has a matte finish (almost too drying) however, it stings SO bad. I actually had to give this to a friend because I couldn't stand applying it on my skin. After looking at the ingredient list I don't think it has any ingredient I'm intolerant to, maybe it's something to do with the formulation? Whatever the case may be, if you have rosacea prone skin you may want to stay away from this sunscreen.
