I bought this last week hoping to exfoliate and clear up close comedones on my forehead (this is also where my fungal acne grows) I saw good reviews from quora and reddit saying its good for malassezia but it was from the old formulation. I checked the indredients again and noticed they added an ester, Glycereth 25- pca isostearate, which is a fungal acne trigger. Used this on my face to test and it triggered my FA lol (never again). I can't find any good exfoliant safe and strong enough to remove dead skin cells and also fungal-acne friendly. Changing its formula was a total let down for a FA person like me :(((

I am not an avid user of Acid based products. I like simple soothing ingredients, but last 5-6 months have been suffering from a strange bout of adult acne in combination with fungal acne. Tried a whole bunch of things ( The ordinary gylcolic acid toner etc) but found most too harsh for my skin. The on an impulse i bought this, best decision! the glycolic + lactic acid combo works well and it does not cause any irritation to my skin. But i make it a point to use it only at night and with a good amount of sunscreen during the day with re application.
