Still on the fence

I'm so torn on this product. Even as I sit here and write this. First...shame on you it Cosmetics for having such a crappy shade range. This is 2018 and you need to get better on that. There are literally only 12 shades and very few of those for darker skintones. Then let me continue by saying I have SUPER oily skin. Like have to use McDonalds napkins as "blotting papers" kind of oily skin. I also have SUPER sensitive skin so there are a ton of foundations that I can't use because they literally burn my face or make it itch so bad I want to peel my skin off! This foundation/CC cream is better than most products I have tried in the last 6 months to a year....and that is a LOT! It does have great medium coverage. I like that! I don't really need a super full coverage foundation that is going to cover every single imperfection on my face. I have lots of freckles on my face and chest so if I covered all the ones on my face it would look really weird to have a flawless face and freckled neck/chest. So I don't mind that part. But again I go back to the shade range issue. I'm fair skinned and have neutral undertones (i have both blue and green veins on inside of my wrist, I do burn at first but then will tan after, I have issues with rosacea so there is redness, but I also have freckles and some warm tones) and the Fair shade is too dark for me in the winter but the next shade down is too pink, the lightest shade is way too light for me. So I can't even use this in the winter if I wanted too. I do like that its not a full matte finish...more of a satin finish. But if you powder it down and/or use a powder to set the foundation it will go full matte. It does last the full day if you are careful about not touching your face. It does not do anything to help prevent the oils from coming through but it doesn't really do too bad with breaking up when the oils breakthrough. If you are oily like I am, you will need to blot and powder through out the day. It will transfer on to clothes or your phone etc if you touch your face with anything. So there are a lot of pros and cons. I'm sorry if this wasn't too helpful. As I said I'm still on the fence.
