Good spot exfoliator (although a bit harsh)

I bought this product in my local Khiel's store because I was in severe need for a good BHA spot treatment. I have somewhat oily skin and I am subject to acne. The few days before I bought it I had just experienced a break out on my whole forehead which isn't usually an acne-prone part of my face.

The packaging is really cute, it gives off a sort of Victorian Era Pharmacy type of vibe. The quantity of the product is really small but I soon found out that you only need a tiny amount of product for it to really work.

I applied a thin layer of the Khiel's Blue Herbal Spot Treatment on my blemishes after my water-based moisturizer had completely sunken in as part of my PM routine. It stung at first on some places so I wiped of the product from those places, leaving an even thinner layer.

The product contains mainly glycolic acid and salycic acid which makes it a chemical exfoliator. I assume it treats spots by "digging out" the bacteria of the zits.

When I woke up the next day, my whole forehead was shiny (not oily) but it wasn't red and it didn't feel sensitive at touch. I was experiencing a sort of purging, all my acne had come to head, even the cyst I had on my left cheek.
In the evening, My skin had become red-ish, sort of as if I had gotten a sunburn, even though I had used an SPF50 and this certainly wasn't the first time for me using acids.

I have re-used it since, approximatively every 2-3 days, on my deeper pimples. Its been working great but I have to be extra careful with the interactions of my other products ( I noticed my vitamin C serum makes the irritation way worse ).

I have somewhat sensitive skin so I knew what to expect from a AHA/BHA product but it was still harsher than I thought it would be.
It does work great for bringing the acne to head though.
