It leaves a shiny film on my skin I don't feel like it's fully absorbed. After some months using, I find some slight changes but it's not life-changing or anything. It's just a good introductory vitamin C product. Won't buy it again :< It leaves a shiny film on my skin I don't feel like it's fully absorbed. It burns a little when I put some drops directly on my face even though I keep the serum in the fridge. I think that's how vitamin C works. It's quite hydrating. I don't know if it works for others' skin but for me, I saw the result on the very next day. Some freckles on my cheeks and some acne scars look brighter Yayyy. The price of this one is reasonable, too. I will repurchase this for sure.
Read that it doesn't work for others/doesn't absord/is oily. I love this stuff! It really brightened my skin and gave me a dewey glow (I happen to like the glass skin look). It's mild enough to use every day and the oil consistency, for me, it's gorgeous. Absorbs easily.
This does not absorb well on the skin, and leaves an oily sheen that lasts throughout the day. It also gave my face a persistent redness that did not go away. After a few days it gave me several white heads so I know it was clogging up my pores and I also feel it made my SF darker instead of lightening them. This serum is also only 5% and it's recommended that vit C needs to be at least 15% for effectiveness anyway. I was disappointed since Klairs really sells themselves as a brand that's good for sensitive skin, but the citrus essential oils are not good for a lot of people like me. Maybe it works for other people but I am sorely disappointed I wasted my money.
