Good Vit C serum to use in the morning

I have tried so hard to find a good Vit C serum that can use in the morning and work well with my sunscreen. And finally I found it, I dont think it can have amazing effect in brightening my acne scars but it definitely make my skin feels healthier and glowy, and especially does not bring more oil to the skin during the afternoon although my AM skincare is quite minimal. Love it and would repurchase.

Don't like this product

It is very light and quite oily and doesn't seem to absorb into my skin. After putting it on, it made my face kinda itchy and brought back inflamed pimples that were previously gone from last night. However, this is perhaps because it is not FA-safe and I might have FA. Nonetheless, there is very little vitamin C percentage and it comes in a transparent plastic bottle which is easy for it to break down.

Lighten my acne scar

I have to say that this vitamin c serum is the most powerful serum so far. It helps to reduce the inflammation, treat my acne and lighten my acne scar and brighten my complex . After two week of usage I could see the improvement overall .
Now I'm using the second bottle , so far I don't see any improvement even there's new acne scar and i started to have fungal acne . my skin getting really sensitive too , i think it might because the serum thinner my skin .
i would recommend not to use for too long , should stop after reach the result .

Light, Airy, Potent--but Does it Absorb?

Now, by no means am I a vitamin c skincare junky, but I do enjoy the idea of VC and try and get it in products when I can. There are some really interesting potential pluses to this product, imo, but also a couple of downsides.

Pros:
1) it's very light, soft, and almost velvety in texture (in comparison to the CosRX Lightning Vitamin C Serum) which I enjoy.
2) It seems to be pretty potent. I try and use this serum either directly on my face or in my moisturizer 4 evenings a week and 3 days a week. At least. Sometimes I'm in a hurry or really tired and the extra steps of leaving my bedroom to go get it from the fridge inhibit me from adding it (#lazy), but I try and use it at least this many times a week to see results. I also use one or two other products a week that have vitamin c included in it to balance out the days when I'm extra lazy. When I do use it this consistently, or more, I notice that my acne heals faster (after letting the wound close but maybe the scab is still there, or if I just add it to my moisturizer) and it does affect the scarring afterward. I wouldn't say I get incredibly awful scarring or hyperpigmentation after acne, but it's certainly there and ranges depending on how much I picked at it (gross and yes I shouldn't do it, but hush). So, seems like this product (cult favorite?) has a pretty good level of efficacy.
3) It's pretty hydrating
4) it feels like it actually helps heal my acne or helps it go away (if I haven't picked at it) which... not sure if that's something it's capable of or not, but that's how it seems.
5) Lasts a while, and when kept in the box in the fridge, didn't oxidize as quickly as the CosRX one did (not a perfect comparison though since I've always kept this one in the fridge vs CosRx VC serum was hit miss for me).

Cons:
1) In comparison to the above VC serum, I don't think that the Klairs FJVC Drop is as effective or potent as it could be. I feel like when I was using the CosRX serum, I noticed more drastic results. That being said, the CosRX serum was more watery in texture and tended to sting a lot more than this one ever has, which makes sense since it's higher in VC.
2) It doesn't necessarily mix as well with my moisturizer as I'd hope, which is probably due to its velvety texture. The CosRX one did mix quite well.
3) Sometimes I feel like it's not very fast absorbing. As if, when I put it directly on my face, it'll just sit there without absorbing or it'll take at least 10 minutes to full absorb. It's almost oily in comparison to the CosRX serum so it doesn't absorb as well as the CosRX does I think.

I would say overall I enjoy this product and I notice some consistent results, even if they're slow going. I think that it would be a very gentle VC starter serum for newer skincare goers and probably isn't super irritating for sensitive skinned people. I'm honestly not certain which I like better, this serum or the CosRX one, but I think they're both worth giving a try!
