this calms skin but broke me out

This product gets lots of rave reviews but it's not for my acne-prone oily combo skin. It does calm skin and seems to even out skin tone/reduce redness immediately. However it broke me out, possibly because of butylene glycol or cetyl alcohol. I will therefore not repurchase.

Helped improve my skin

I have combination skin and this has been such a great product. I have been using this product for about 2 months now. It's hydrating and gentle on the skin. It takes away redness and it doesn't make my skin oily. I would definitely recommends this to anyone with oily or combination skin. I would definitely continue using this product.

On a whole new level

I used a sample of this cream that I received from purchasing products. I have combination skin, so I didn't know if this would work for me, but I still tried. The cream claims to calm your skin while giving it moisture, leaving it at night while you sleep. It makes sense to me to leave it while I'm sleeping because that's when your skin is repairing, so if this cream helps with that, why not give it a try.

The first thing I noticed: the texture. WOW. I've never used any cream with that kind of texture. It's like a mix between a jelly and creamy, but with a watery touch (hard to explain, it's really unique). The scent is amazing too.

I applied all of the sample (and I think it was more than I had to) and my face felt kinda heavy and greasy the first 10 seconds, but after that, the skin absorbed the cream very, very well. It left my face hydrated and moisturized. That day I had some light redness on my cheeks and T-zone. The day after, I noticed it reduced A LOT. My redness is not a complicated problem but more of a skin texture that just doesn't want to go away. And what this cream does, is exactly solving that problem. The next day I didn't apply the cream and the redness went back.

If I can call a cream a miracle, it has to be this one. I can't even think about the benefits it has for sensitive skins, it's so soft and gentle, you really should give it a try.

If I would purchase? Hmm maybe not, it's not really suited for my type of skin (and it still did a good job). If it's effective? Oh hell yes, it is.
