Community: 1 Rating • 1 Review | Other Sources: 1 RatingsI have used this sunscreen for years since discovering it and it has been my HG for my dry, tret-using skin. It never pills and is moisturizing enough to use without any other cream or lotion under. It also has a UV filter (Mexoryl SX aka ecamsule) that blocks UVA and stabilizes avobenzone. It isn't available in any other US product due to byzantine FDA regulations that haven't approved any new UV filters since 1999, but it is available to use as a UV filter on a product-by-product basis. This is the only product that was tested and approved however, since testing is so expensive and time-consuming.
Unfortunately, I had to stop using this because I realized that it was causing acne. I wish it weren't so, but switching to a fungal acne safe routine cleared up the persistent acne I got between my eyebrows and reintroducing this product into my routine made it come back. But if you're not prone to fungal acne and have generally dry skin, this is a great sunscreen that keeps skin moisturized all day and layers well under make up without pilling.
