I have sensitive skin - so I find this product works best when applied only in certain trouble patches. The salicyclic acid is fantastic at removing acne spots and closed comedones/whiteheads when they are coming up - they go away very quickly when I use this.

This was my first skincare product that I bought for a PIH. And it really brighten my pigmentations, I used it as a spot treatment, I put it on every place where some pimple was, in the morning and in the evening, and after few days, maybe a week, it removes a pigmentation. If the pimple was big and deep, pigmentation will not dissapear completely, but it will be much smaller and brighter than before, because it needs a skin to recover deeply in order to totally dissapear. But still Effaclar Duo does a great job and it is always in my cosmetic bag.

i mean it does what it suppose to do but the ingredients aren't great but i really liked the results it offered but it made me very dry for like two weeks so i needed a way heavier moisturizer that i already had, one that has silicons at that so yeah not the best but effective.

I can't tell through how many tubes i have gone, but i have been using this product since 2016. I get hormonal acne, my skin is very acne prone and those acne leave scars. This product has been helping me though all this years to keep this situation under control. It makes acne and smaller pimples heal faster than they would do on their own. I mean, it's not a miracle product, there's no such thing, i still have acne, comedones and a fee scars. But my skin is much better with this product than without it and i will definitely keep using it!
