Possibly irritating

I've used this serum for a couple of weeks, but I think it's irritating my skin. Cannot deny it's hydrating, but the fragrance is so strong, I believe it's making my skin itchy and causing me to break out. I wanted to love this one so much, but I guess it will be removed from my face skincare routine and serve as a hand moisturizer. Considering the price, I suggest asking for a sample (if that's possible), since it can increase your sensitivity.

The ugly truth of alcohol on skin care😔

I bought this product on August last year and found out that this product really works its best for me. This product is a light-weighted serum that known for replenishing skin’s natural moisture barrier. It is not the tacky one yet very gentle and easly absorped to the skin. You will have a moist skin face if you diligently putting this serum to your day-night routine.
However, then why I give this serum 4 stars instead of 5 if this works really well for my skin?? coz this product contains the alcohol and silicon things on it that may potentially be harmful your skin years after.

As far as i know, silicon used medically for improving scars and healing the wounds.
While on skincare, it often leaves skin looking plump and smooth, that will might make your face look and feel nice in the moment. They don’t contribute to the long-term health and improvement of your skin. As soon as you wash the product off, you wash away the benefits. For the sensitive skin, silicone can cause breakouts, irritations, and acne: Silicone is hard to get off and can build up on your skin, leading to acne. It can especially cause irritations for people who have sensitive skin and cause your skin to become even more sensitive.

Alcohols like ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, alcohol denat, and methanol are used to make creams feel lighter, help other ingredients to penetrate your skin, and as a preservative. On the surface that all sounds OK, BUT there is a downside as well. Such alcohols can cause dryness, irritation and breakouts. So I am firm believers that they don’t have a place in skincare precisely i have a terribly sensitive skin. Those alcohols could turn to be bad if they are used in high concentrations in skincare. They will deteriorate your skin’s protective barrier which means your skin is no longer effective at keeping moisture in. WARNINGS! It also stimulates oil production which could lead to breakouts if you have an oily skin.

So for me, i love this product yet i will try to looking for the better and safe than this.
