A gentle, calming, and hydrating sleeping mask
Reviewed
Skin Type: dry Skin
Skin Concerns: Anti-Aging (Fine lines & Wrinkles), Sensitive Skin, Dehydrated Skin

This was my very first sleeping mask. What enticed me to purchase this product was the many awesome reviews and beauty blogs I've read online. Many of the reviews mentioned the hydrating effect of this sleeping mask and how it's a must buy. I have very sensitive skin that's dry in the winter and dry/combination during the summer. I've only used this product for a few months during autumn and winter so I haven't noticed any long term effects on my skin. It has a cooling and hydrating feeling when I first apply it to my face. I need to smother my face, otherwise it will feel somewhat dry and tight. When I wake up in the morning after washing off the mask, it feels super smooth and my face has more radiance (I usually have a very tired face since I sleep late). The smell is really light, calming, and relaxing.

Overall, it's definitely a product I would purchase again.

My thoughts on Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
I do like this product a lot, but I am not sure I will repurchase. I also use another sleeping mask from Missha and I really can’t say that this one is that much better than the cheaper one.

My skin feels really hydrated in the morning and I know it is doing a lot of good things for my skin while I sleep.

The mask is supposed to have what is called a sleep scent and it is supposed to be calming and relaxing. For me I can’t say It does anything, but I do like the scent of it. Many people do complain about the scent, that it is too strong, But as long as it doesn’t smell like old woman perfume it actually don’t bother me. I would prefer products without scent but that is really hard to find in Korean products.
The packaging is really nice but I would prefer a tube instead of a jar. It comes with a spatula so no dipping your fingers in the jar.

I can’t say I see a tremendous difference in my skin except it feels really moisturized in the mornings and that is a feeling I really like.

First sleeping mask used!
Reviewed
Skin Type: oily Skin
Skin Concerns: Acne, Blackheads, Large Pores, Sensitive Skin

This was my first sleeping mask a while back and I received it as a gift. The great thing about this mask is it does it job of sealing in moisture and the next morning my skin doesn't feel as dried out as before (Have AC on in my room).

It doesn't do anything spectular apart from just doing that - sealing in the hydration. It didn't break me out which is always a big bonus - I'll always fall back to this sleeping mask if I have nothing else to use or am in a stage where I need to reset my skincare routine.

I do have to say, it did slightly irritate my skin around the cheek area - causing some redness on some days. It wasn't consistent and wasn't a big issue but I couldn't pin point the ingredient that was responsible for it, it does take a little away from this mask but apart from that, no complaints.

Bonus tip: Put the sleeping mask in your fridge or freezer (it doesn't freeze - just get's really cold) and then use it at the end of the routine. It's refreshing and cooling - whether or not it has any benefits, I am completely unsure.
