Lovely formulation that goes bad quickly

I really wanted to love this, as it is an affordable, fungal-acne safe vitamin c serum with great ingredients. I loved that it absorbed into my skin nicely, and the brightening effects it had after using it for the initial 2 weeks. Mine went bad after about a month/month and a half, even while placing it in a darker part of my bathroom. So far I found success with the Neogen Vita C Powder, which will be my go to after this.

Went bad quickly

After having an epic fail with The Ordinary Vitamin C, I bought this after it came highly recommended. The formula is so nice and light plus it sinks into the skin quickly! I use this as my first step after rinsing my face in the morning. The texture of this is like an oil but it gives you the benefits of Vitamin C! But, I don't plan to repurchase this. It started going "off" about one month after opening which I was not expecting! You can tell because the liquid gets a yellow hue. I'm still using it although I think the Vitamin C aspect might be close to expired by now and I still have 1/4 of the bottle left! And I really didn't see a huge difference in my post-acne marks which was the main reason I added Vitamin C. I'm trying the Timeless one next so hopefully I'll have better luck.
