Community: 0 Ratings • 1 ReviewI chose this cushion over other US drugstore cushions because of its non-irritating/beneficial ingredients. Mine was in the shade 30, and I believe this is their second formulation.
The packaging is that of first generation cushions, meaning it has a very porous sponge-like dispenser(not a mesh), a harder thin applicator and a very light plastic component that doesn't feel all that expensive. Otherwise, it comes with a mirror, has some SPF and no scent.
Right off the bat, I felt happy about the fact that it wasn't clogging or irritating, unlike many foundations. It had about medium coverage, evened out my skin tone well and lasted throughout the day. However, I noticed that without prepping my dry skin extremely well, it sort of didn't adhere and rolled off my face in certain places, especially upon trying to build it up or adding concealer on top. Then I realized that it has a very similar consistency to other Dream Mousse base products from back in the day, sort of whipped and airy. I also felt that this problem exaggerated with time, possibly due to the cushion drying out quickly.
In conclusion, this cushion might be better suited for oily skin types, but I wouldn't mind quickly slapping it on for a "no makeup" type day during summertime when it's hot .
