I use this after cleansing and active products like vitamin C, BHA, or AHA. It's very light and refreshing to use. It hasn't produced dramatic results but it's a good foundation to help other products to work well. It adds some hydration and nice ingredients while helping absorption of other products.
Repurchase? Yes.
First of all this contains 94.9% rice ferment extract, which by itself contains a ton of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that are great for your skin. It has a light sake scent to it, feels like water, and is excellent for layering. While I didn't notice any immediate results, I've found that with continuous use my skin appears smoother and more refined. It's also much more affordable than the popular SK-II facial treatment essence, and while this doesn't deliver results as fast or as noticeable, it also feels more gentle on the skin (sometimes the SK-II essence makes my skin tingle).
For me this is an excellent alternative to a toner, and at this price it's definitely one of the best options I've tried (much better than the Missha one in my opinion). I also have an indepth review on the blog if you're interested!
