I bought this product to see whether aloe vera gel would be beneficial for my skin. After a few days, my skin was a lot healthier and hydrated. My friend had offered me some aloe vera pups from her plant, which I grew. After I tested the aloe gel directly from an aloe vera plant, I found that the effects were nearly the same as this product. So although this product is very good, I would rather use the gel from an aloe vera plant (which saves money).

*an aloe plant costs about 2x this product, but can produce a lot more gel in the long run
