a nice serum for making my pores look less visable

My thoughts on Neulii Green Tea BHA Pore Tightening Serum
For starters, I have really dry skin, so my pores aren’t that large. I am getting older and my pores are therefore increasing and that is why I decided to test this one out.

I really like the packaging of this serum. It is a frosted plastic bottle with a pump and it is really easy to get the perfect amount of product out. All their serums have the same type of packaging.

The serum is clear but with a tint of yellow in it. It has a strong alcohol scent and according to me it doesn’t seem to smell anything like green tea. I am really not a fan of the smell of alcohol, maybe due to overconsumption in my younger years. But the scent doesn’t linger on the skin.

When applying the serum, I usually use my hands, adding one or two pumps and then applying on my face, patting the product in. It absorbs really quickly into my skin and doesn’t leave any sticky or oily feeling.
Since I have really dry skin I am not going to be able to use this product during the colder months (since I live in Sweden that is basically 9 of 12 months) and I have been using this product all summer to test it out.

This is not a miracle product that will make your pores shrink. There is actually NO product that can do that. What it does is make your pores APPEAR smaller since they are cleaner and not filled with gunk. Your pores are there for a reason, and that is to produce sebum and without that your skin will be dry as a desert. But there will have to be a full post on this topic later on I think.

If you have large pores (usually it goes hand in hand with oilier skin types and older skin). Then I really recommend using a pore primer before your foundation or BB cream. This will simply smooth out the surface making your pores less visible.
Since I have dry skin I really can’t say anything about sebum control. But after talking to people with oilier skin types it really seems to be effective in controlling the amount of sebum. As for me then, what did the serum do for my pores. Well it actually helped my pores appear smaller so for that I give this product big thumbs up.

For the claims, well as I said before there really isn’t any miracle product that can make your pores smaller, you need your pores so start loving them instead (well maybe not love, but like). But the product does help in cleaning my pores and thereby they appear smaller. So, I really do recommend you to try this one out.
