The only hand cream I use!

This one is so moisturizing! where I live, it gets down to -40 degrees C(104 fahrenheit) and this is so protective! also now with covid with all the extra handwashing and hand sanitizer, this one is my savior! i get dyshydriotic ecsema sometimes and this helps me so much!

A massive disappointment

Okay, I really thought this would be an awesome, if not decent hand cream. After all, the reviews everywhere were mostly raving about how awesome it is. (Disclaimer: I first tried this hand cream 3 to 4 years ago and it's based upon that time.)

Well, I was really wrong! This turned out to be a massive disappointment, like when you go to a dating agency and get a brain-feasting zombie who can't think, let alone talk, instead of a potential companion who promises hours of conversations about the places you've been to, the things you've seen, etc.

This comes in a small convenient tube which can be stored in your car, your handbag, etc. It's small and portable.

It's scentless and the packaging promised that "just a dab relieves dry, chapped hands".

Ooh, if only you could turn a zombie back into a human. It did absorb well, it did smooth out my hands but yes... there's a huge BUT coming on. But what? At the start, I used a little and it was okay. Days passed, weeks passed and it became more and more drying. And still, the same kept happening. So I thought maybe I should up the dosage by a bit more. What a big mistake! It completely dried out my entire hands and fingers and everything became like a paradise of dried prunes! Yeah, all the skin on my hands and fingers became heavily wrinkled and dried out.

So I tried to use it on my arms, my heels, etc. And ughhhh... more problems!

So I binned it. If I'd continued to use this, I'm sure I'd have inflicted even more damage on my hands.

Oh and I recently tried this again, like 3 months ago. The same results all over again! I don't know if they changed the formula but there was no way I was gonna be persistent about finishing the tube!

It wasn't until recently, I learned that glycerin can be very drying. It can actually draw out the moisture from your hands. So just avoid this, if your skin barrier has been compromised.
