I reserve 5 star reviews for only the very best, almost holy-grail status, or items with many claims that I find are substantiated. Sunscreens often are "safe" skin care items; they are designed only for UV protection and often don't go "above and beyond" with additional skin care claims. So my 4-star review is NOT bad; I didn't take off a star for any glaring reason.
Pros:
* I find this works really well with my dry skin and is non-drying, but it doesn't have the oils in it that break down my makeup faster.
* Does not trigger any irritation on my sensitive and rosacea-prone skin; the UV protection does help these concerns as well.
* Does not seem to aggravate acne or increase comedones.
Cons:
* Sometimes if I don't let it sit long enough before applying another product (or, if I don't let another product sit long enough before I apply this), I notice pilling, which may be from the silicones interacting with water-based products. That's a little bit irritating, but overall it's not too frustrating. I try to use this first thing in the morning so it can "sink in" while brushing my teeth or getting dressed.
