I decided to get this cleanser because I wanted something gentle that contained plant extracts and anti-inflammatory agents, as well as something more hydrating than stripping. I've found that though this cleanser gives you a "squeaky clean" feeling (which personally, I don't mind) it leaves your skin hydrated enough to not feel tight before moisturizing.
The smell is minimal and the lather is really nice; definitely unexpected with how watery the gel feels. It's never irritated my eyes or spots on my face that I've picked at/popped.
This gentle cleanser has become a staple for me! Also it's super cheap and fungal acne safe and you get a ton of product.
I had high expectations for this product, as it is specially formulated for sensitive skin and I had read numerous good reviews. I was sooo disappointed when after two or three days of use I had a reaction to this product. It wasn't a severe reaction (thankfully), but it came out as small bumps all over my face, especially on my cheeks and chin, and the skin was very textured, red and rough. It took me for about a week of intense care to get it back to its normal status.
I do not know if it was an allergic reaction to one or several of the ingredients or simply a strong irritation due to the essential oils it contains. According to the label it was not expired and I didn't notice any strange smell or consistency. Only once before had I had a reaction similar to a product, and I have found that both have lemon in common, so I won't be playing with citric acid anywhere near my skin anymore!
From my experience I cannot recommend this product, but I hope we can read more reviews.
